Tabs to Group User Properties

Set Properties as Editable or Read-Only
You can restrict users from accessing or modifying specific properties. Properties can be set as editable, if you want users to update it, or read-only, if you want to restrict users.

AD information Sync enables you to import user profiles from Active Directory to any SharePoint list, including User Information List. With AD Information Sync, you can sync as much information as you require from User, Contact and Computer objects, including common, Exchange and extended attributes. AD Information Sync can also identify Active Directory attribute types and map them to a compatible SharePoint data type.

With one step users can quickly and easily change their own password when they log-on SharePoint without an IT administrators help, thus reducing an IT administrators’ workload and save valuable time.

Proactively send email notification to users when their passwords are about to expire. You can schedule when reminders are sent to users, thus ensuring passwords are changed before expiry.

A confirmation email can be sent to inform users once their password has been changed successfully. You can also choose if the confirmation is sent as a CC or BCC to administrators to help them identify password change activities.
Password Reset - Users can reset password for themselves.

This simple web part can be added to any SharePoint page for easy access. Users can reset their password right on the page by themselves with no need to go to IT or administrators for help.

Password Reset supports Active Directory Services, NT Directory Services and SqlMembershipProvider. AD users, local users and SQL membership users can reset password for themselves.
Two Ways to Reset Password
Users can reset their passwords via answering predefined security questions or by receiving confirmation emails that indicate a password reset link. This allows users to safely reset their passwords using ID verification.
Customizable Security Questions
Up to three security questions can be set to verify a user’s identity. Administrators can also customize default security questions for users or users can define their own security questions.
Auto-Generate New Passwords
Complex new passwords can be automatically generated. Users will receive new passwords directly on the password reset page or via emails once their identities are confirmed.
Supports Alternative Emails
To receive a new password or password-recovery link through email, an AD Authentication user, Local Authentication user and Forms Based Authentication user can define an alternate or secondary email address.
